The Cs'ranthum was the second pack formed on Canidrome. The name means "Alpha" in the ancient wolf language, and that is what the pack is. They have been forced by the other packs to move into a remote, nearly unlivable forest. And they must become accustomed to eating only about every three days, and live in the coldest place on the planet. This makes the wolves of the pack ruthless killers, unwilling to take chances with any outsiders or wolves who show the slightest sign of betrayal. So they are now dominant over the other packs.
