Site And Pack RULES
- Mood
Here on DDWP, we try to make a fun, awesome environment for you guys to play your wolves in (Even though we're evil!)
Try very hard to not be violent or inappropriate to a point where some might feel uncomfortable. Remember, some users on the site might not be as old as you! If you violate that rule more than three times, you will be banned from the game for a period of time I see fit based on your actions.
We know that the point of this site is to have a place for evil wolves to live, but that doesn't mean we have to be rude and cold to everyone! We can still make friends, love, have a mate, and even have puppies! - Wolves
To create a wolf, go to the "Create A Wolf" board and follow the instructions. Your wolf name can be different than your username.
All wolves die at age thirty, but they can also die or be killed before that. Alphas will live to thirty five. one exception is me, Lekhrite, because I created the game and I am immortal.
You can kill other wolves, be it in another pack, or in your own. But there must be a reason unless you are a rougue, and the wolf you are attacking can fight back, so you are also at risk of being killed.
If you die, you can make another wolf or use the same one but start off back as a puppy.
You can only have one wolf at a time. On one account you can create up to two different wolves, as long as they are not living at the same time. After your second wolf dies, you have to go to the "Adoption" board and put your wolf up for adoption.
- Posting
You post to make your wolf age and rank higher faster.
Once you create your wolf and it has been approved, you can go to the pack you have chosen to be a member of's board and start playing by posting and replying to threads.
Each post must be at least five sentences long, it is not worth posting a new thread if you only have a few words in it.
Please use spell check. I will let words like "im" or "U" slip sometimes, but only for the general discussion and the C box, not the game itself please.
Please write in third person unless your wolf is speaking; this is a very strict rule and will be enforced.
No posting in any of the pack boards until your wolf has been approved.
You can't post on other packs boards besides the one you joined unless you are invited by the Pack Alpha (which is very rare), or you wish to leave your pack, which must be approved by me. - Inactive Accounts
Please post on the inactive board if you are going to be offline for more than two weeks. If I find your explanation reasonable, then you have nothing to fear. But if you are gone for more than two weeks and don't tell me, then I will send out a reminder email and soon after delete your account. You can rejoin, though. - Character And Display Names
Please no inappropriate language or swear words as either one of your names. - Signatures And Pictures
Please do not use any huge pictures, because some of us have slow computers and this will add about one to five minutes on to page loading.
Your signature located in your profile is for anything you want, but if you would like you can put a little info about your wolf there, too. - Ranks
Ranks are basically the different levels of command you can be in. For instance, the pack alpha (leader), the highest, or the omega, the lowest besides the puppies.
You get a new age every time you reach a certain number of posts, and a new rank every time a wolf ranking above you retires or dies. You can claim your rank by posting what you want on the "Ranks And Duties" board, and I will see what I can do. Read more about what the different ranks and duties are in the "Ranks And Duties" board.
You can challenge a wolf ranking above you to a fight so you can move up in rank, but remember you are also at risk - Packs
To prove you are worth the space you take up in your pack, you must perform the duties you are given with accuracy and do it right.
Here are the RULES of all the packs:
1. Obey the pack alpha if it means you or a loved one's life
2. Obey all others who are ranked above you, if the order is with the alpha's permission.
3. If you are a puppy, take advantage of it! Any wolf under the age of nine months is safe from harm within the pack. So if you are a puppy, then make as much trouble as you can! After all, that's what living on the planet Canidrome is all about! - Breeding And Birthing
You can only breed in the breeding season, which is September, October and November. You can only give birth in the birthing season, June July and August.
You can have a mate and puppies, just go to the "Breeding" board and post a thread showing your username, wolf name, and your mate's name. Then have your wanted mate reply to your post with the same message about him/her self, and you will soon be approved by a staff member. Then follow the rest of the instructions on the "Breeding And Birthing " thread in your pack's main board.
You can only claim a wolf as your mate if he/she is: no more than a year above or below your age, and of the same pack.
The alpha can claim any wolf in the pack but a puppy or one of the same gender, and they may allow the pack beta to do the same. All other ranks must have permission by the alpha to mate and they can only claim a wolf of the same rank unless there is special permission. - Planets
The planet Canidrome, which the packs live on, is located on the edge of the Wulfenlore Galaxy. But there are many other planets to choose from for your birth planet, and each planet has different wolves on it. Some are red, some are horned, some are even winged! Go to the "Planets" board to choose your wolf's birth planet. It will affect your wolf's appearance and, in some cases, personality. - The Adoption Board
On the adoption board, you can Put a wolf you have up for adoption, or adopt a wolf if you don't have one yet. Do this and find more info on the "Adoption" board. - Time
Game time is the same as real life time, but your wolf does not age according to this time line, but by the number of posts that he/she makes.
Some things in the game take time, like waiting for puppy birth or for a wolf of the opposite gender to fall for you. Just know that you have quite a while still on the game, and there will always be things to do!
